The paper involves the experimental study and the computer simulation of both EHD velocity fields and integral current characteristics. The former and the latter are measured by the particle image velocimetry and the so-called dynamical current voltage characteristics methods, respectively. Computer simulation model solves the complete set of electrohydrodynamic equations using COMSOL Multiphysics software package. The data are analyzed and interpreted in terms of degree of conformity between the experiment and simulation. Measurements (velocity fields and dynamical current voltage characteristics) were performed for liquid entirely heated up to various temperatures. It is shown how the EHD flow structure and the total current change with temperature.
