N2 - Infrared absorption spectra of SF6 and CF4 solutions in liquid O2, N2 and Ar were studied in the temperature interval T = 64–110 K. With the use of these spectra the monomer-dimer equilibrium constant has been examined to realize the process of the dimer formation. The equilibrium constant is established to be rather constant with the temperature and cryosolvents, whence it was concluded that the dimer formation process is entirely probabilistic phenomenon in low-temperature solutions.
