N2 - Deformation properties of materials with different crystallography and kinetics of martensitic transformations were studied. It is shown that in the process of loaded metal cooling deformation in the direction of applied force is observed, and after off-loading in the range of transformations, depending on kinetics of phase reaction, with further cooling deformation of oriented transformation, or shape memory effect, or reversive shape change may occur. The investigations were carried out using Cu-13.6% Al-3.8%Ni (mass parts) monocrystals quenched in water from 1225 K (in β′-austenite crystallographic direction ≪100≫ along the cylinder axis.
