The subject and methodology of an emerging field of cybernetical physics related both to physics and to control are outlined. The cybernetical physics is understood as studying physical systems by cybernetical means. The results in cybernetical physics are formulated as transformation laws rather than conventional conservation laws of physics. Examples of transformation laws describing excitability properties of dissipative systems are presented. Other research directions are discussed.
