Systematic geomorphological studies of the Antarctic at different scales was preceded by the prolonged period of implementation of field radio-location, seismic and hydrographic investigations of hyposometrical and bathimetrical position of subglacial (or submarine) continental surface. It is supposed to carry out geomorphological study on the ground of morphodynamical conception. The last provides comprehensive and fully study of the relief (morphology) of this surface and then due to obtained data - the cognition of the relief forming and controlled by the relief processes and factors. The geomorphological study includes: a) the structural analyses of the relief; b) the analyses profiling and mapping on the ground of systematic-morphological principal; c) the revealing of forms of subglacial (submarine) surface (or geomorphosystems) on the orographical map; d) structural-geomorphological investigations; e) morphosculptural and f) joint (comparative) analysis and synthesis of geomorphological results with materials and data of inter-disciplinary sciences.
