N2 - We report first configuration interaction calculations of hyperfine constants A 80 and the effective electric field Wd acting on the electric-dipole moment of the electron, in two excited electronic states of Pb207 O. A combined scheme of correlation calculations is also developed and applied to studying the core properties. The obtained hyperfine constants, A 80=88 3826 MHz for the (1) state and A 80 =4887 MHz for the B (1) state, are in very good agreement with the experimental data, 88 4113 MHz and 5000 1200MHz, respectively. We find Wd= 88(6.1 88 0.6 +1.8) 1024 Hz 88 (e cm) for (1), and Wd= 88 (8.0 11.6) 1024 Hz 88 (e cm) for B (1).
