Fundamental aspects of the process of continuous chromatomembrane gas-extraction purification of water to remove dissolved oxygen are considered. An adequate physicochemical model and mathematical description of the process are proposed. The advantages of the chromatomembrane technology of water deaeration over the conventional methods for removing dissolved oxygen are demonstrated and substantiated.
