Aspects of the application of indirect potentiometric determinations to chemical analysis are considered. Among them are the standard addition and subtraction methods and their modifications, the multiple addition method, and potentiometric titration using ion-selective electrodes as indicators. These methods significantly extend the capabilities of potentiometric analysis. Conditions for the applicability of the above-mentioned methods to various samples are discussed using all available ion-selective electrodes as examples.
