N2 - This work examines the influence of cathodic protection currents on the properties of clay soil under drained and undrained conditions. The study was carried out using an experimental setup simulating cathodic protection. At the end of the experiment, soils with an undisturbed structure near the cathode were studied, where changes in the physical properties, particle size distribution and pH of polarized clay soil samples were revealed.
