Using the adsorption and electrokinetic measurements as a basis, one has calculated the parameters of the selective layer of inverse - osmotic and ultrafiltration acetate cellulose membranes - concentration of fixed ions, electrical conductivity, the ions transfer numbers, as well as the Donnan potential and the mobility of ions. The electrochemical characteristics of membranes obtained are applied to predict their vapor selectivity.
