In this research, a bibliometric review was made on an issue related to the economic policy of Peter I. The following keywords were identified that characterize it: mercantilism, cameralism, monopoly, state-owned enterprise, and accounting. Scopus was selected as the database. It is one of the leading international abstract and citation databases. The research period is limited to 1990–2020. As a result of the study, a description of the current situation with research on these keywords was given, the time periods of publication activity, as well as its “peaks” - 2018–2020, were identified; the main types of publications were determined - articles and book chapters, as well as branches of knowledge, to which they relate - Social Sciences and Economics, Econometrics and Finance. In addition, the leading countries were highlighted, which works prevail in total - USA and UK. Also problem areas of research were specified, on which researchers interested in the development of this issue could focus. For instance, the importance of detailed studies of monopolies and state-owned enterprises in the Petrine era should be especially highlighted.
