Research is based on the analysis of cases of reversal of the Soya Current vectors registered in the cold period 1999 – 2001 be means of mooring stations located in the La Perouse Strait. Proved that such turns can be caused by two factors: 1) general weakening of a flow in the winter period due to alignment of difference in levels between Japanese and Okhotsk seas; 2) anemobaric influence on the water area of a strait through drift component depending on force and a direction of a wind, and through gradients of atmospheric pressure. Action of latter is studied. Tidal effect is not taken into consideration as it is off a period of probed temporary scale. Optimum localization of centers of sea level pressure above the area under discussion contributing origin to gale winds from the East at moments of reversal of current is defined and the gradients of atmospheric pressure are calculated. Results are compared. Discovered, that the quota of a gradient of atmospheric pressure between water areas in the periods
