The author examines the resolutions of the Third State Duma of the Russian Empire in regard to art, chiefly concerning rebuilding of the Taurida Palace in St. Petersburg, the problem of preservation of historical monuments and the activity of the member of the State Duma, well-known archaeologist A. Bobrinskiy.
