N2 - Results of MT-AMT investigations in the north-western and central parts of the Kamchatka Peninsula for geothermal exploration are considered. The main features of geothermal deposits in this region are analyzed. Remote reference technology, robust data processing and forward modeling have been applied at the MT-AMT data interpretation. Geological structures of the Palana and Kluchi areas have been studied on results of 2D inversion of MT-AMT data up to 2500 m depth. Obtained data have been used for the geological and geophysical models creation. The most perspective sites for the prospecting drilling have been selected.
