Published paper of G.A.Kantakov and G.V.Shevchenko “The analysis of residual currents in the La Peruse Strait associated with the level variation and wind effect” has attracted our attention as it there was a speech about interpretation given of unique long experiment on measurement of currents in the La Perouse Strait carried out in 1999 through mooring stations located just in the mid of the strait area. One of interesting results emphasis made in the paper, was the fact of registration of turn of vectors of flow twice on March 6-7 and 21, which authors of paper have explained with variability of the Soya Current normally entering the Okhotsk Sea at place of station location. As a reason which one has caused such turn, G.Kantakov and G.Shevchenko have assumed forcing up to a storm the east wind. In present sketch we have decided to continue research in this direction in order to support or deny the viewpoint of above mentioned authors.
