We consider the anapole moment of ¹¹Be and demonstrate that the contribution to it of the 1p_1/2 level, which is anomalously close to the ground state, is essentially compensated for by the contribution of the continuum. Our estimate for this anapole moment is κ(¹¹Be) ≃ (0.07-0.08)g_n.
