The results of experimental studies on the aerodynamic drag of spheres in subsonic two-phase flows are presented. It was found that below a certain solids concentration in the gas flow the drag of a sphere increases linearly with concentration. The drag coefficient of a sphere is a function of the size of the particles, being maximum at specific particle sizes.
