N2 - The precise experimental method for determination of the coefficient of intensification of strains (CIS) is analysed. The method is based on taking dimensions in some region at the tip of a crack. This region is established by the constancy of CIS and factors of the minimum of the first derivation of functions in radial and angular coordinate, with are contained in equations of photoelasticity and the asymptotic Sneddon's equations for the CIS.
