The retrieval errors of the vertical profiles of many trace gases were investigated by means of the numerical modeling of space measurements of the absorption of IR SUN radiation during sunset and sunrise by DOPI interferometer. Calculations were made for different random errors, spectral resolutions and intervals, aerosol models, tangent height ranges of the measurements etc. It was shown possibilities to retrieve the temperature profile with error <2 K in the 5-50 km height range.
