В статье рассматриваются методологические проблемы изучения анормального развития. Дается определение таких понятий, как «развитие», «деятельность», «активность», «адаптация». Анализируются различные подходы к изучению психического развития, в частности, предложенные Л.С. Выготским, А. Гезеллом, С.Л. Рубинштейном, Б.Г. Ананьевым. Дается характеристика методологических принципов изучения детей с различными нарушениями.

The article deals with the methodological problems of studying of abnormal development. It gives a definition of such concepts as «development», «work», «activity», and «adaptation». Different approaches to the study of mental development, in particular, the approaches proposed by L.S Vigotskiy, A. Gesell, S.L. Rubinstein, and B.G. Ananiev are analyzed. It also presents a description of the methodological principles of study of children with various types of disorder.
