N. Tatishchev, M. V. Lomonosov, M. M. Shcherbatov, N. M. Karamzin. The dynamics of possessive adjectives and possessive genitive in the Russian language of the 18th century is investigated on the basis of essays on Russian history of the 18th century, which, due to their content, included a great number of anthroponyms. The author analyzes the textual use of possessive adjectives and possessive genitive, the cases of their competition with each other, the peculiarities of the compatibility of these forms, the order of the possessive adjectives in relation to the noun being defined, the use of case forms of possessive adjectives and the system of their endings.
