The article is dedicated to the little known meeting in Chernovtsy in 1823 of the Emperor of Russia Aleksander I and Emperor Franz I of Austria. Diring his short stay in Chernovtsy Emperor Aleksander I liked to stroll alone along the streets of the city. During the walks he ended up in various awkward situations.
