For more than 30 years since the collapse of the Soviet Union, post-Soviet space has been the scene of a geopolitical struggle. That is why the issues of developing a collective policy of the member states in the field of countering destructive attempts of external ideological and psychological pressure are increasingly being the object of close attention in the working and advisory bodies of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, which is currently the sole guarantor of security in the post-Soviet space. In addition to using general scientific methodology to achieve the main results, the authors of the study rely on specific methods and approaches: information approach, non-functional approach, critical discourse analysis, and content analysis. The main research materials are the scientific publications of foreign and domestic authors that have already become classics, as well as the latest scientific developments on the research topic. In addition, the authors rely on an exhaustive database of normative legal acts adopted at the level of the CSTO PA, as well as unpublished materials from meetings of the Expert Advisory Council under the Council of the CSTO PA and the Expert Advisory Council of the State Duma Committee on CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration, and Relations with Compatriots.
