The water budget of a small stream watershed provides important information on the hydrological cycle components within the local area. The paper overviews the six-year observation of water budget elements in four small watersheds ranging in their size from 0.16 km2 to 18.5 km2. Annual precipitation over the six-year observation period ranged from 488 mm in 2021 to 763 mm in 2020. The total number of rainy days was 621. The maximum monthly precipitation of 169.8 mm was recorded in June 2020. Snow precipitation accounted for 16% to 37% of the total precipitation over the hydrological year. Calculations show that the snowmelt produced infiltration ranging from 69 mm to 106 mm with the six-year average of 88 mm. The water balance shows an annual change in water storage, which reached an average of 41 mm/year. This value represents 7% of the average annual precipitation layer. The baseflow was identified by separating the runoff hydrograph. Data analysis showed that the baseflow of the surface runoff was 102 mm on average over the six years evidencing that 60 to 70% of the surface runoff accounted for the baseflow.
