N2 - We applied a method of the wavelet-analysis to 42 items of Azores limited by 33-430 N and 22-320 W. Temporary lines of primary production with 8 day discontinuity from 2002 up to 2008 are analysed. They are obtained on the basis of satellite chlorophyll «a» measurements (data Aqua MODIS and SeaWiFS). The variability of primary production is marked for the whole range of scales -from several months to 6 years, but with various intensity. The basic contribution to primary production variability is brought in by fluctuations of annual and four-year cycles. The intensity of extremum meanings in various items is various. There are «more productive» and «less productive» areas. The coincidence in time of maxima of a four-year and annual cycles on the wavelet-image corresponds to high meanings of primary production on the diagram of initial realization while reversed phase on the wavelet-image corresponds to low meanings. The given circumstance further can appear essential by the development of primary production prognostic models. In some items the essential contribution to primary production variability is brought in by semi-annual fluctuations showing much non-uniformity in time and in space. In nature the presence of semi-annual cycles in variability of primary production corresponds to the presence of spring and autumn phytoplankton of flowering flares.
