Biographical narrative of the first half of 1930s was actively developing. Unconventional texts were eliminated from the social realistic canon and other works on the contrary entered into it. There were two basic forms that influenced on the formation of soviet biographical narrative, namely obituary and autobiography. In the article we are concentrated on the analysis of autobiographies of aviators who saved the Cheliuskinians in 1934. Together the stories formed a book called How we saved Cheliuskinians. Although these texts are constructed on the prototypical plot (term of Katerina Clark), there are some deviations from it. The peculiarity of the autobiographies consists in combination of the prototypical plot with confessional prose and details of the reality, which disturb the scheme.
