N2 - Technological processes associated with the processing of metal cutting, provide for the intensive flow of a variety of coolants and suspensions. Despite the good isolation of the working area of modern machines, their efficiency in terms of airpurification from pollution is not always high enough. Certain advantages have the method of purifying the air by cooling it. For the design of a specific design of an air purification device, it is necessary to calculate the processes of condensation and sedimentation of contaminants. In this present work, a numerical simulation of the condensation process using the finite element method is performed. As a result, the cooling process was modeled at a certain size of the cooling chamber, cooling tubes, and condensation zones were revealed. The solution to the problem in the stationary mode is given.
