Teacher's understanding of psychological features of a pupil depends largely on his/her perceptions and attitudes towards the pupil and on the system of pedagogical interaction. The level of each component's development reflects the level of teacher's communicative competence and affects the adequacy of psychodiagnostic judgments. From this point of view, teachers' communicative competence is the instrument of carrying out psychodiagnostic activity within the educational process.
