The article deals with the problem of interaction of bogs with the natural environment, especially with geological and geomorphological conditions of the area. Mutual connection between bogs and the relief does not remain constant but changes in space and with time. Morphology of a bog system depends on relief which is one of the most important landscape component in any climatic zone. The article is of interest for geographers, geomorphologists, specialists in bog studies.
