The article is devoted to location of noble families country estates and their influence on landscapes of St.-Petersburg region. Particular natural-cultural complexes of country estates are considered. In such complexes relief, water system, soil, vegetation and structure of a landscape undergo change effected by country estates. It is marked that the landscapes variety of territory and its fragmentariness is first built up and then decays when the country estate is destroyed. Estate construction brings forth landscape diversity alongside with its fragmentation, both becoming pronounced when the estates first because desolate in the 20th century. But later neglet results in aesthetically and landscapingly poorer the nature-and-culture complex. The more nature components (relief, water system, vegetation, landscape structure) were effected by the estate construction, the worse destruction is undergone by the unit of nature and culture when the estate is ruined.
