N2 - A.V. Yarmolenko is a prominent the Petersburg psychological school representative. Her biography from the very beginning was associated with the school of V.M. Bekhterev, as she studied at the Psychoneu-rological Academy, worked at the Brain Institute founded by Bekhterev. She is known as the leading special-ist in the deaf-blind psychology. She is the author of works on touch perception multilingualism, general and experimental psychology. Augusta Viktorovna made her contribution to the national struggle during the Great Patriotic War. The article highlights the role of A.V. Yarmolenko as a colleague of B.G. Ananyev and V.N. Mya-sishchev in the formation and development of psychological education and science at St. Petersburg State University.
