In the Altay-Sayan mountain region, archaeologists recorded a great number of archaeological monuments, many of which have not yet been dated. Authors conducted the analysis of the spatial [correlation, distribution, confines of archaeological monuments from the Stone Age to the Mongol time. The distribution of the monuments on the physiographic provinces indicates that the development of the Altay-Sayan territory was uneven both in space and time.
