This article is about possibilities of efficacy increasing and toxicity reducing in standard chemotherapy for cancer. There are described three directions: mechanisms of multidrug resistance and possibilities of its overcoming, selective transportation and delivery of drugs using vectors and artificial containers and also prospects individualization of anticancer therapy.
