Natural resources using, including land resources management in the context of sustainable development;
Changes in landscapes associated with anthropogenic activities;
Man and the environment;
Land recourses degradations on the pastures;
Resource economics and resource conflicts
Land using, soil pollution;
Socioecological problems and sustainable development;
The anthropogenic impact of the extraction of the natural resources (oil and gas, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, etc.).

Regional focus: there are developments in the Northwest of Russia (the Kola Peninsula, the Republic of Karelia), and also in the Republic of Buryatia
