The article is about an attempt to present a balanced view on system of managing the drivers of supply chain on the basis of real case of a producer of plywood with multi-tier distribution supply chain acting internationally. The authors address several issues related to managing supply chain in a turbulence, with main goal to keep overall business profitable and reduce costs. Some results presented show findings from the case with perspective to scale this experience to other areas
