N2 - A system of nonlinear partial differential equations that models perturbations in a layer of an ideal incompressible fluid over a deformable bottom is considered. Solutions of the scalar equation for modelling small-amplitude wave propagation in an infinite horizontal layer of the non homogeneous fluid are constructed.
