Publications on the high-temperature chemistry of phosphorus oxides and phosphates are discussed. Experimental data on vaporization, thermal dissociation, reduction, and thermodynamic properties of individual phosphates and some of important phosphate systems are summarized and correlated. A significant part of experimental data was obtained by mass spectrometry.
