Vigilantism is an ambiguous phenomenon that plays an essential role in transforming personal values into social norms and in maintaining the challenged norms. In Russia, the most consistent model of vigilantism is "managed vigilantism", meaning, on the one hand, restrictions and bans on activities of vigilante groups and organizations, and on the other hand, creation of opportunities for groups that use moderate practices and protect public values that are important for the state and society. The authors use cluster analysis and LDA analysis to study the discursive practices of seven vigilante communities belonging to four value spectrum areas. As a result, we identified discursive practices common to vigilante communities, which manifest common trends and a uniform vigilant culture in Russia.
