This work examines issues surrounding the upcoming US elections. Issues such as the COVID-19 pandemic, vote-in-mail, election interference and racial tensions. This article argues that most elections are fraught with threats and challenges. Thus, in this period of uncertainty with COVID-19, which is forcing many people to vote by mail, the United States should consider innovative measures and preventive approaches to address such threats and challenges, rather than accusing foreign countries of electoral interference. The article concludes that if the US does not do this, it will forever accuse countries of interfering in elections.
