The article is devoted to the research of current trends in investment behavior of Russian business. The research purpose is to characterize current trends in investment behavior of business in Russia based on analysis of official statistical information and suggest a proposal to stimulate investment activity to accelerate economic growth in Russia. It has been shown that despite the fall in the volume of investment in Russia since the beginning of the 2010s, a fairly stable growth of fixed capital investments was observed for certain types of economic activities. The main source of financing fixed capital investments in recent years is own funds of organizations. Measures are proposed to legalize incomes, increase consumer demand, provide business with credit resources to increase motivation and opportunities for active investment behavior of business.
