Investigated in this work is the uniform surface mechanochemical corrosion of an elastic thick-walled long cylindrical tube subjected to constant internal and external pressure of mediums at different temperatures. In the previous articles without taking temperature stresses into consideration, the problem had been reduced to the first-order ordinary differential equation in either tube cross-sectional sizes or the maximum principal stress as the situation requires. Here the ordinary differential equation allowed for heat stresses has been deduced. Some analytical solutions of the basic equation have been found. The algorithms for a tube life prediction and environmental contamination assessment have been developed.
