This study analyzed the policy of Russia in the United Nations on issues of information security. The basic doctrines and policy papers regulating information security policy in Russia, as well as international legal Russian initiatives, were analyzed. In addition, the UN activities in this field are shown as a context for Russian initiatives on international information security.
