The article considers the problem of measuring the growth potential of the defense-oriented sector. It proposes a system for estimating growth potential on the basis of indicators systematized by management functions and activities of an enterprise, influencing not only the financial and production factors of enterprise development, but also the personnel (human capital) of the company, including the advanced training of personnel. It is of great importance in the modern economic environment given the evolution of knowledge economy.
