It was established that optimal concentration of chitosan solution depends on its molecular mass for fibers preparation. The influence of molecular mass value on mechanical properties of chitosan fibers has been studied. The fibers of the best mechanical properties have been obtained from chitosan of 2.1x105 g/mol molecular mass, these fibers have strength of 188 MPa and Young modulus of 11.5 GPa.
