Interfacial breakdown is a breakdown that occurs between two pressed dielectrics. The work deals with features of creation of experimental setup to research interfacial discharge. The corresponding oscillograms of discharge voltage and discharge current are obtained. They make it possible to determine the presence of a discharge and its duration. The oscillograms of current allow us to determine the type of discharge with current magnitude. Three configurations of setup are observed. The best configuration of setup is proposed.
