The main methodological basis of this study is the critical discourse analysis developed by T. Van-Dijk, as well as the concept of medial by V.V. Savchuk. The author is a follower of the positive-functional theory of conflict developed by Lewis Coser. The author uses the latest interpretations and developments of both domestic and foreign fellow scientists who have developed the topic of conflict between modern media actors and state. The object of this study is the media sphere, the subject of tools for constructing a conflict in the media space by the actors of the media sphere, their beneficiaries. The author of the article emphasizes the constant and relevant need to understand the media sphere as an effective tool for constructing a conflict. The author notes that the conflict of values and identity is one of the toughest forms of actualization of contradictions between subjects of conflict interaction. The author concludes that there are possible threats associated with the presence of a clash of interests of large actors of the media sphere in a competitive info-space, which can result in possible reactionary and protectionist measures by states, which will lead to the sewerage of the aspirations of governments to maintain a national and totally controlled info-product. Such measures can lead to the destruction of tolerance mechanisms regarding the diversification of the media environment.",
