N2 - In interaction of a metal with an MeO42- oxidizer on the surface, a protective oxide layer is formed. However, the possibilities of obtaining a high corrosion resistance by this method are limited. There is a possibility, using the methodology of chemical assembly of solid substances, of constructing passivating layer including by ions of another compound possessing better properties. At the same time it is possible to synthesize on the surface of the metal double-zone passivating layers the inner layer of which is produced by a traditional method and the outer by chemical assembly. The method of repeated chemical assembly of chromate layers increases the corrosion resistance of steel in comparison with the standard method of chromating.
