Within the framework of kinetic equations formalism, a theory is developed of light transfer through a layer of superradiant medium comprised of three-level atoms where all transitions occur only due to coherent processes. It is shown that at the entrance of the amplifier, regardless of the initial light statistics, the light shot noise is suppressed by a factor of 2/3 in a wide spectral range.
