Molecular parameters of copolymer flocculants based on acrylamide have been investigated. The molecular weight, length, and equilibrium rigidity of the macromolecules have been determined. It is shown that the thermodynamic rigidity of the macromolecules is a function of the ratio of the copolymer components. The average optical anisotropy of the monomer residue has been determined, and differences in polymerizabilities of the copolymer components have been calculated. The influence of ionic strength on hydrodynamic and optical properties of the flocculants has been investigated.
