The effect of short-wave UV radiation of one of the components of a mechanical mixture of luminophors consisting of the basic luminophor and an additive on the photoluminescence intensity of the composition is studied. The effect is shown to be insignificant. The photoluminescence intensity is determined to a greater extent by the transparency of the additive in the UV region and its degree of dispersion.
